I am usually the one to answer these questions, but for some reason I can't figure out how to check my gmail account on my cell. My service is through Sprint. As far as I can tell Sprint doesn't support other pop email's.

Anyone have a good solution for this?

The only way it's going to be possible is if you can manually enter in pop addresses.

the only thing that I have found so far is to forward the email as a text message to my phone. It works, but only barely.

wap.gmailwireless.com is supposed to work as the address to check your email from your phone as well.

Trying to set up pop access in my phone but I think that I need the SSL domain. Does anyone know what this is?

I set up my cingular phone to do it, but have had no luck... the ssl is what is stopping me I think.

Also keep in mind that gmail requires you to change the port to a non-standard port on one the mail servers... not sure if it's the pop or smtp.
