I've been offered Carson Palmer for Willis McGahee.

Background:
My usually starting running backs are Adrian Peterson (Vikings) and Willie Parker. I also have Lendale White on my bench. My QBs are Matt Hasselbeck and Eli Manning. However I'm considering asking for a WR instead of Carson because his numbers have been meh, plus I'm pretty average at WR with Tory Holt, Larry Johnson, Calvin Johnson, Joey Galloway, and David Bowe.

We start 2 RB and 3 WR in my league.

Carson will pull out of his slump. Talent-wise he's behind only Manning and Brady, and look at who he's throwing to. He'll be fine. You've already got two of the best RBs on your team, and a solid backup in Lendale White. Eli is due for his usual late-season slump, Hasselback isn't great to begin with. Pull the trigger.

I'd do it so long as the team your trading to won't be a playoff contender. If he already has a solid team but just needs a 2nd RB to be great, don't do it. I imagine he already has a stud QB if he's giving up Palmer.

He's in the process of acquiring Tom Brady for Ben Roethisberger, Marion Barber and LaMont Jordan. He's basically putting all of his trust in Tom and acquiring McGahee to replace Barber. Right now he's in the middle of the pack at 3-4.

His other RB is LT and he has Randy Moss and Ocho Cinco. His only downfall is his lack of depth.
