I'm in a 12 team league, that awards more points for receiving (14 pts/100 yds as opposed to 10 pts/100 yds rushing) and also for receptions. TDs are all worth the same - 6 pts. My RBs (very weak, yes I know) are:
Chris Brown/Travis Henry
Thomas Jones
Marcel Shipp
Marshall Faulk
Ron Dayne (recently added)

Recently dropped by other teams were Deshaun Foster and Frank Gore. Should I swap Faulk and Dayne for Foster and Gore off waivers? I realize there are no earth shattering names here but I'm really trying to scrape out 2-3 starting RB slots every week. Gore may be the starter by midseason and Foster is more likely to play than Faulk (i.e. SDavis is a bigger injury risk, already questionable this week, than SJackson). Anyone have any advice, thoughts? Other than "Give up now!" :p TIA.

dayne might be a worthy temp pick up, becuz anderson seems to be going down weekly with his ribs, and bell has ankle probs. and as for foster... i'd just keep an eye on him.... as soon as davis goes down, grab him up fast.

dayne's supposed to get a bunch of carries this week cause anderson isn't 100% and bell is out.. i like gore's talent.. of course i said the same thing about barlow.. the niners just have a really beat up o-line and therefore no running game.. even if the win against the rams, they could hardly run the ball.. i'd stay away from gore, although i like him

I would stick with what you have... T Jones is solid for a little while, and Marcel Shipp is going to end up the cards starter... the weakest guys on your squad are Faulk and Dayne... both of whom are stronger than Foster or Gore. I think Davis will be solid all season, and I think the SF 49ers suck so bad it wouldnt matter if Gore got the start or not.
