Interesting...If guilt by association justify's the profiling, police and judicial practices in these situations...Should middle-aged Caucasian men be regularly subjected to the same for white-collar crime? Should I call up financial authorities for every middle-aged white man in the area running some annoyingly profitable business?

Every Trump voting shop owner I know has a separate set of books for cheating the taxman and hiding stuff from the wife.
Between that and the heroin and meth epidemic among whites in the "White community" that has led to decline in life expectancy for the average american I have 3 words
Mandatory Minimum Sentences.

We just need cops to step up their game and properly police these white communities. All this tribalism among whites is resulting in unreported crimes and lax enforcement.

That's what scares me, black communities evidently have loads of problems, but some people see selective enforcement of the law as a reaffirmation of ethnic dominance. Once the stigma of 'inherent criminality' is stuck on some group, people pull out statistics justifying any set of improper punishments. Rape convictions and claims of 'female emotions', 'manipulations' come to mind, and usually from the same set of people.

Please do exactly that. If differences in policing exist then raise the levels as required to make them equally high. a good start would be to jail a few tens of thousands of white folks for hiring exploiting illegal aliens for below minimum wage labor.

Can't believe the Hobby Lobby one. Even if I was inclined to, I wouldn't buy that kind of stuff at a place run by racist, misogynistic fundies. But most of the women I know seem to love it. Weird.

That kind of goes two ways though doesn't it? In the past month, three African Americans made serious BUT false claims against law enforcement.

In this incident, a black woman accused the officer of rape. The accusation went viral and was accepted as fact until video of the incident was released. The officer who ended up as the target of harassment and on-line death threats was not the actual officer but an officer with the same last name.

In this incident the South Carolina NAACP president (and pastor) falsely accused an officer of racial profiling, asking about drugs and harassing him. This was accepted as fact until video of the incident was released.

In this incident an African American woman accused a racist cop of bullying her and published her accusations on Facebook after which it went viral. Once again the video did not back up her allegations.

Lastly, two employees were fired for not serving a African American woman after closing time EVEN after they had just declined service to two white women before she came in.

This all occurred in the last 30 days and it certainly muddies the water when ascertaining when allegations have merit and when they do not.
 
Well just another EWB. White woman calls the cops on 8 year old black girl selling water. I always hear racism is on both sides. I'm sure we have been inundated with black people calling the cops because little white kids are selling lemonade on the street. I purchased some last month from some little white kids. No ill thoughts crossed my mind. Give credit to the cops. They didn't respond to the call.

It didn't take long for the internet to identify her. She says, and the police back it up, that the 911 call was just a bluff. She also says that the real reason she had a problem was that the mother was screaming below her window for hours and it was driving her nuts. What the article didn't say is that she at least asked the mother to tone it down or move a little because she could hear her constant screaming advertisement in her home. If she didn't at least do that then I have absolutely zero sympathy for her. Her business has already taken a big hit and I'm sure it's just the first if she even has a business left after the smoke clears. The mother or the cousin or whoever the adult is and the child are making a nice profit from donations and gifts already too.

The death threats and threats of sexual assault are fucked up though.

And I see that Shaun King is another person that decided to tweet about this incident... He was one of the people that helped spread the false narrative of the woman that was raped by the officer. His tweet here is absolutely outrageous and to assume that just because a white person calls the police on a black person that it’s racial is just as absurd.

Shrug, I don't pay attention to the long term players in these issues. I just know that if her account of what and why is true then she is being unduly tarred and feathered and more importantly the other sides time and resources can be better spent elsewhere. From all accounts she didn't actually call the police so I'm inclined to believe the rest of her story too. With that said, she handled the situation all kinds of wrong but on the face of it doesn't seem like she is just a racist bitch. I'd be pissed if someone of any race was screaming for hours outside of my window too.

@Victorian Gray I'm simply commenting on this one single event, it isn't meant to take away from all of the other much more verifiable events of blatant racism which sadly are just a drop in the bucket compared to what actually happens in the real world. Sure race relations have improved but they are by no means fixed as some people like to claim and blatant acts of ignorant racism happen every day to good people. After hearing her side it is reasonable to conclude that this might not be one of them.
 
In defense of #7 the real estate investing while black.

I’m a 100% white guy realtor. I’ve had the Police stop by to see what is going on with a guy (me) hanging around an empty abandoned house that’s had drug, prostitution and squatter problems.
Dealing with stuff like the Police showing up is part of the job.

Although what you're saying is in jest the general answer is yes, that we should police all "up" to the level we're willing to subject any one group to. We went through this before with widely different sentencing guidelines for crack vs. powdered cocaine and since the first was used at a disproportionately high rate by blacks and the second by whites it meant whites were getting lighter sentences for basically the same crime. Back then I said the powered cocaine sentences should be raised to be equal to the crack cocaine sentences. Likewise here I'd say that "white collar crime" by white perpetrators in the central business districts shouldn't be policed less than "street crime" by blacks in the neighborhoods. If you're unwilling to do that what whatever reason then we should police presence in black communities as well.
 
The question I have to ask is if these incidents are not solely because the people are black, but rather because the people calling are just, well, idiots.

In the case of the girl selling water, the caller was upset that she was yelling a lot and she couldn’t get work done. Is it not reasonable to think that she threatened to call because of that as opposed to the girl being black?

And in this last one with the kid mowing grass... It seems like this is a just a neighbor with something stuck up her... The kid mowed some of her lawn by accident and the neighbor is one of those people that call the police for anything, no matter how minor.

I’m just curious why these cases are just automatically considered to be racially biased when the only aspect of it being racial is that the caller is white and the person dealing with the repercussions is black. Does that automatically mean that it is a racially biased incident.
