In fairness, apart from the hoods, they don't remind me of KKK - those look more like white 'clean room' suits than the "robes" I think of with the KKK. The stupid pointy hats are pretty problematic/unfortunate though.

If they were supposed to be snow cones you would make the neck narrower and the head the biggest?

So their "they're snow cone costumes!" made me Google to see if such a thing really exists. I saw a bunch, but they sure didn't look anything like that. I'd believe they were just clueless and it was unintentional. But their explanation was terrible.

@pcgeek11 our resident racist apologist didn’t notice I said this clip was funny because of their cluelessness

The racist environment fostered by Trump is responsible for this.

I like it when other passengers on the bus are chatting away on their phones (or in person) in non-English languages (that I can't understand). Means I can kid myself they are talking about all sorts of interesting and romantic things. And/or pretend I'm on holiday somewhere foreign and not just in the same city I'm always in.

Whereas when they speak English it's invariably painfully obvious they are either (a) furiously shouting at their partner for alleged infidelity or (b) equally furiously demanding the payment of a debt from someone they believe owes them money, or (c) having an utterly banal conversation and telling someone they are "on the bus".

Pretty sure that's actually what they are doing even when speaking Polish, Italian, Greek, Urdu or Russian, but it all _sounds_ so much better when you can't understand it.

At this point I wouldn't be shocked at all if Trump winds up passing a law making it illegal to teach Spanish in schools. Heaven forbid our already poorly educated youth do something like learn a 2nd language.

Think bigger and dumber. He'll try to ban speaking Spanish in America, anywhere and everywhere. The irony of the "we speak English in America" dumbfucks will never cease to amaze. But it was enough to get Biden to come out against using Ebonics as a bridge to teach English to kids in the 90s.

Trump's America where it is fashionable to attack/threaten black people. Yeah, Trump didn't create it but has given express permission to openly practice it.

The Ebonics movement was about as real as Defund the police was.

Or as @pcgeek11 calls it me hammering another nail. A recently hired state department undersecretary

His quote should make black people more comfortable to live in this country
“Competent white men must be in charge if you want things to work.

Why would anyone believe people like @pcgeek11 who claims white Republicans are not the real problem when it comes to racism/antisemitism. I think this is the first Trump firing. Will check in Trump prediction thread. Let's be clear, Lil' Marko wasn't not fired BECAUSE he is a racist and Trump believes that kind of attitude in government is wrong. Trump is one of them. He was fired because the public found out.

This is exactly why I can't stand my people and their association with Trump. DL Hugley sums it up nicely.
Remember Dems were criticized because they didn't stand for the cancer kid at Trump SOTU? Nothing Trump did helped that kid and at the same time he is cutting cancer research and Medicaid. This black family got to dance their jig for Trump but families that come after them will be hurt. Nobody explained it to those suckups.
