I got 48 items to show up with my search for "Discworld." Is there some setting you might have accidentally enabled to show only the top result, or the item that ends soonest, or something like that. I know those functions don't usually limit the search to a single item, but rather just place them in order, but that is all I can think of.

Try a different browser, perhaps?

The items you search for have no bearing? In what world are you living? That's actually the first question I would ask.

Ebay could have changed a rule that relates to the type of item you were purchasing, like with the aforementioned virtual goods.

And you refusing to answer a perfectly logical question and getting defensive is what created the rest of the answers. The " guess what Pontifex is buying" game is a lot more fun than trying to answer a guestion with too little information given.
