YAET: unpaid item dispute filed

dabuddha

Lifer
[*]Sold an item.
[*]Buyer has not sent payment.
[*]Opened a dispute on May 4th 2 weeks after the auction ended.
[*]In my dispute console, it shows the dispute and it has a blue check mark which says it's [*]eligible for a final value fee credit.
[*]I haven't been credited my money yet.
[*]I'm not sure how to proceed from here.

Has anyone been through this before?

Cliff Notes: Read above.

EDIT: The person already left me positive feedback too. I guess it's safe to hit em up with a negative now, eh?

i know I had some final value fee uncredited back to me,
i do lose the FVF for no reasons.. even though it is clear I have not been paid.
Buyer has not responded.
and it says "no actions required from you at this time "

and after like 3 to 4 weeks, ebay just says.. "final value fee not granted" report time has elapsed.

Hmm...That is the form I used. It mentions right on the page...

"Request a Final Value Fee credit for returned item or uncompleted transaction: If you and the buyer have resolved the dispute (for example, the buyer has returned the item, or you and the buyer have mutually agreed not to complete the transaction)."

The last time I did this I requested a credit because I was selling a high dollar item and the person who purchased it has 0 feedback and it was a scammer. eBay checked into it and a day later the account was frozen and my account credited.

You could also check your Account Status and see if it has already been credited to your account. http://cgi3.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewAccountStatus

why did he leave you a positive? did you agree to not go through with the deal? i find it weird that the buyer would leave you a + if he knows he's not paying? 😕

I have no idea why he left me a +. My last communication with him was me demanding he send payment or I'll have to file a non paying bidder dispute.

The credit takes a full billing cycle to complete, ~4 weeks, at least in my experience. Go view your current invoice on line and see if it's reflected there. If not, give it about two weeks or so. I've never had eBay to "forget" to credit me.
