YAET: Need help finding a guys phone number.

I bought something off eBay from what seemed a very reputable dealer, but I have been trying to contact him the past few days and he isn't replying to my e-mails/messages. I have his name, address, and city he lives in.

He printed the shipping label, but I keep checking the tracking number and it just keeps saying:

The U.S. Postal Service was electronically notified by the shipper or shipping partner on July 26, 2005 to expect your package for mailing. Information, if available, is updated every evening. Please check again later.

So he made the label on the 26th but it still hasn't been shipped. Hell, it woulda been here by now. Should I wait a few more days?

I tried using the Yahoo! phone book thing but it couldn't find anything, if I provide the name and address can someone find me his phone number?

I want my sh!t :|

Edit: Fixed title

Edit #2: Your item was delivered at 10:55 am on July 29, 2005 in NEBRASKA CITY, NE 68410.

Delivery Confirmation (what USPS uses) is NOT tracking. There is no guarantee (and it's usually the case) that the status will update at ANY point until it's delivered.

If he shipped it first-class on the 26th or 27th, it may not update until it's delivered.

If you wanted tracking, you should have paid for UPS or FedEx or DHL. USPS does not track.

Thanks jumpr 🙂 Maybe it'll show up today or tomorrow

This is true. HOWEVER, the messge the OP is getting is not the usual message. What you have there is someone who paid for the shipping and DC online but hasn't taken it to the post office yet to be scanned into the system. Give it a few days, if he's already paid for it he is planning on sending it. Who knows what may be going on with him.

I hate impatient buyers like you. It's been three days, calm down. He may not run to the post office the second you made payment.

And I hate slow shippers like you 😉

USPS doesn't track, I have an order sitting in my hand and it still says its expected for shipping. Don't worry he shipped it.

1) You're being WAY too impatient
2) The USPS is notorious for crappy tracking (nonexistant, it's essentially delivery confirmation only)
3) I've had packages in hand before the "tracking number" showed as even being valid on their web site
4) 3 days is not long enough for Priority, if you don't have it today you'll probably have it Monday

Just relax, OK?
