He's in Portland. That's what, at least 250mile trip to Canada? 500miles roundtrip = $30~50 on gas + 6-7hrs driving.

That could still be cheaper than 300 some for shipping from the US.

It's only $160 with BAX Global.

UPS can't even deliver to her place, they said they can get "within 3 days".. lol.

It would almost be cheaper to just foot the shipping bill than to take a road trip, lol.

Or she could drive down to Portland to pick it up. Like it says in his auction: shipping charges are the buyer's responsibility. OK, so he dropped the ball by not having the item in stock but she also agreed to wait. If I was in a similar situation, I might charge the restocking fee or work out a compromise with the bidder rather than spending anymore time on the matter. Though the item did not ship, the bidder still entered a contract to buy the item without fully considering how to go about getting the item.

She lives in Yarmouth, Nova Scotia.

Hell, I wonder if there is a way for her to get from where she lives to Maine via ferry....

is there? there is. i'm sure it'd cost less than a hundred bucks to ship it to maine.
Yeah. The ferry fee is 45$ during the off season.

I just don't know if she would be able to bring it back with her on the ferry. It's not exactly something that would be easy to carry, plus you would have to deal with customs....

yeah, she can do it. one of my friends waltzed across the border with a five foot bong. customs is lazy.

all she has to do is show the manual and all of that. she'll be fine.
