I'm a beginner ebayer, so I need to know what I can do.

I put up something for sale, and this guy, who lives in my state, asked me if I can take it to him or somethig, to save on shipping cost.

First of all, if I decide to do that, do we still do transaction on ebay? How do I do this where he doesn't pay shipping costs...wont paypal require him to pay shippin since I already listed the shipping cost? Or do I have to close the auction.

Second, I including an accessory w/ my item, so I was making the shipping cost cover it...can I email him and say it to him?? He can't give me bad feedback for that or antying right?

why waste your time? if he doesn't want to pay shipping, he can shlep over and pick it up himself.

Kinda what vshah said - if he wants to do a local pickup, make him come pick it up at a place and time of your convenience. And well, you can tell him that the shipping was going to cover the cost of the item, but you guys have to come to an agreement of course. He might not like it but hey it's your item.
