FWIW Both Newegg & Amazon seem to have gone downhill in shipping area in the past year compared to how my older orders were handled by them. They both seem to take longer to get here when I opt for supersaver shipping. In past, both companies usually had the stuff to my doorstep in 3 days or less - now at least a week.

Again,not my first issue with them. I ordered a ps3 game for my BIL a week ago using shoprunner. Still hasn't shipped out

Newegg CSR literally told me she has no idea what to do when I asked her to tell me where in the process its failing. We don't know if its master pass or what but their CSR should be able to tell me what's wrong and should be able to fix/address the issue

I'm not dismissing your other issues, but I just don't think this one really applies to Newegg. Also, if I had to guess, the CSR probably doesn't know what's wrong with your payment because Masterpass probably doesn't give them any information about failures.

There's one important thing to keep in mind about ShopRunner: it isn't Amazon Prime. ShopRunner only offers you two-day shipping for Amazon, but it doesn't mean that they'll actually ship the item that quickly. On the other hand, Amazon states that their two-day means they'll get it to you by such-and-such day. I know... it's rather wonky, but that's their claim. I had an order that got held up for a few days as well, and it bugged me. I didn't mind having to wait, but I didn't like not knowing what was going on since Newegg normally ships rather quickly.

But you're assuming that the problem was on masterpasses end when that very well might not be the case. If it was, I'd expect the CSR to tell me so. But she had no clue

I order a ton of stuff online personally. Shop Runner I didn't touch, I didn't like the whole thing.

However; it seems the same people here always have problems online so I think most of these threads are user error.

I haven't had a problem with any online company I have ordered from. The shipper has let me down at times. Many times the online company made it up to me.


I'm still waiting.

Most here are trying to shoot the moon with something cheap and from an off vendor is my believe.

Most don't even know how to pick up the phone.

The issue is newegg taking over three days just to process the order and the other part is using ground shipping instead of a proper two day delivery service.

So in order to get clarification, I pick up the phone and call. Newegg informs me that it's the shippers fault even though it took newegg over three days to "process" the order but a mere minutes to successfully charge me. The CSR informs me that Newegg plans to file and get a refund on the shipping but since I used shoprunner, there is nothing they can do for me. Newegg will get a refund on the shipping, I didn't get my order as promised and they just tell me tough? I don't care how you slice it, that's piss poor customer service and if that's how they treat customers now i'll shop elsewhere.

I would never have picked ShopRunner.

I don't have a problem with Newegg.

My Amazon order that I hoped would be delivered in 2 days wasn't a Prime merchant. I pay for Prime, but I am not going to go out there and say Amazon failed me. It shipped SmartPost on Friday from PA. I am in FL. It may not make it by Christmas.

It's OK. I didn't have an urgent need for it.

I ordered a $20 music book for my child. I paid almost the same in shipping to get it here tomorrow.

If you partner with a company you have to expect they will deliver as promised. If not, you need to break that partnership. To me, Shoprunner is not at fault because newegg took so long to even process the order. Even if I didn't use shoprunner, it would still take a long time to deliver due to the slow processing time. If I paid for overnight delivery and they took three days to process the order making it in effect a four day delivery time, would that still be acceptable? I think not.

That said, the fact that they took longer than the advertized delivery time to even process the order is unacceptable. Then to follow that up with the CSR telling me flat out that they intend to get a refund on the shipping charge but I get nothing out of it because I used shoprunner is complete and utter bullshit. That to me says "Hey, we're going to make even more on this transaction so shit on you stupid customer!" and more reason I won't do business with them.

I've had both good and bad experiences with Newegg, but now the bad far out number the good. I'm to the point where i'd rather brave the rough waters by shopping on eBay than with Newegg. I typically look on Amazon now, and the fact that Newegg seems to be sliding more and more based on the number of these threads you see pop up simply tells me Newegg no longer cares or they can't seem to get a handle on it.

I still fail to see how any of this is "user error" as you claim. Simple questions: What can I do in this to fix their three day processing time? What can I do in this to get 2 day delivery as promised?

UPS time lines are more conservative than many of the shippers 'knowing' how long a package takes as well. They make up for missed packages by refunding the shipping (which if free becomes something like a 5% off coupon or $5 off your next order).

That was probably something you should have mentioned to the CSR if correct.

Probably right but I'd expect any competent company to already know this since I gave my order # when filling out the chat request. There has to be a point where employees have to be held accountable for their incompetence. I shouldn't have to walk them through the whole process like I did there

I can guarantee the CSR assumed he ordered today.

two day shipping would get their on the 27th assuming they process orders the same day.

tomorrow it won't ship, neither will it Wednesday.

If they don't ship the same day, it will ship the 26th and 27th. The 28th and 29th are non-delivery days. The package will arrive on the 30th.

The OP never told the CSR he ordered on the 16th. I am thinking this conversation is INCREDIBLY unlikely.

I just ordered Polk CS2 center channel speakers from new egg only because Amazon didn't have them on sale. I don't like Newegg much either but I think it's because Amazon has spoiled me into feeling like everything should arrive in 2 days. Newegg just isn't equipped to doing things so fast even with their rush processing and 2 day shipping rates.

Oh yeah newegg was a great source for Polk speakers. I built my whole home theater setup from new egg a year ago and the service was great then
