I spent 3 hours last night just assembling, and another hour installing and I still have a bit of work left to do

edit: i finally finished this god damn forsaken project. in all i spent about 20 hours working on it, thats at least 15 too many, and it really pissed me off.

anyways, concerning Genie's screwdrive models.... beware. the screw is a 3 piece sectional that tends to bind resulting in no automatic anything.

i had to call Genie and while their help staff does speak very good english, it sucked about 2 hours of my time, and in the end, then sent me new drive rail pieces. i finally finish installing the news, and then I reinstalled the new ones because they too binded, and now I have a brand new automatic garage door opener with fresh batteries in each remote.

If I can find the pic, I'll post it... one night I had a bunch of buddies over and we got into the sauce... at one point my friend Steve decided it would be a good idea to help me finish my garage door opener... just for a laugh I handed out a pair of safety glasses for everyone. pretty funny stuff. it didn't get done that night. or the next day.
