Okay so a diagnostic was run on my car and 1 of the O2 sensors is is reading bad. I'm not going to have time to get it fixed this week so I was wondering if it was okay to drive it. I know I won't be getting the best performance and gas mileage, but can it cause any long-term serious damage to my engine?

Do you get better or worse gas mileage if your O2 sensor isn't working? I.E. Does it run too rich or too lean?

I doubt it will harm your engine.

Don't order a sensor from the dealer. Unless you like overpaying. You can likely find an OEM version online for half the price.

It won't hurt it to drive it. The onboard computer will run pre-programmed default values if it loses the signal from the sensor. At worst you will see a drop in performance and gas mileage.

You'll be fine driving it. I had that problem. ValValine said most of it. 🙂

If it starts jerking at all when you get over a certain speed - then it will be more of a pain than anything because the mixture is off.

It should be fine for a week. If you let it go too long, however, you risk damaging your catalytic converter.

As long as I'm not going to damage gaskets, seals, etc...

Thanks for the help!

Not at all. Going a week isn't really going to hurt anything. You might see a slight reduction in MPG but that's about it.
