I have a stereo that needs to be installed...the one shop near my house is very high end and I think they are charging me like it. Best Buy is also near by.....I am sure they will be much cheaper...just worried about quality.

Anyone have experience with them?

i wouldnt. they put just about anyone back there, and if you do, take pictures before hand of your car, inside and out, and date them. and then when you get it back, if there is a screwdriver etch acrosss the dash, then you have a reason to be pissed, otherwise there is no way to know if they did it or no.

I did... everything works fine and is decent except one speaker cuts in and out every now and then... I haven't taken the door panel off to check it, so I'm just going to assume it's the speaker and not their shotty work...

No, because I'd do it myself. It's fairly simple.

Same here. I actually managed to install mine, and I know nothing about cars. :p

What these guys said. Even if you have NO clue, I would figure an absolute worst case scenario of four hours to put it in. Best case scenario about forty minutes.
(estimates based on someone capable of working on a PC and reading an instruction manual)

The problem though, is that you won't know if they will do shotty work until you get your car back. I knew someone that worked at BB and they said that the store they worked at would put cashiers in the install department to cover for people who called in sick.

It's a crap shoot.
