I'm not anti-domestic.
It's just that my 93 Toy 4x4 V6 Ext. Cab 5-spd. has been an awesome little truck these last 121k+ miles. Only gets driven about 2-3 times a month these days, but it still cranks up and runs great everytime.

And no way would I sell it for less than $5k.

Ford v6 vs. a Nissan v6 with less miles. Hmm, let me think about it...NISSAN.

Why? That's the point of this thread, WHY is it better? The Ford V6 is basically a 5.4 liter with 2 cylinders chopped off. What's wrong with it?
Considering that quixfire is a Ford fanboi as much as I am a Nissan one and he asserts the same I feel thoroughly vindicated :D

Don't forget that there is more to a vehicle than the engine. Even if that Ford engine is a good one the rest of it is still a ford ;)
I said mileage, not quality. ;)

Don't know about that. Is't this the same engine that the V6 Explorer uses? There's litterally millions of those things running around.

Sorry, I wasn't clear in post, I was referring to all the parts, body, interior, aftermarket, etc, not necessarily the engine.

I've owned 3 Rangers, 2.4l, 3.0l X2. Currently own a stripper F150 with a 4.2 V6, I don't use my trucks for a lot of heavy hauling, pretty light to medium loads, more of a second car/run to Home Depot vehicle...
