I'm in the market for a new car and love all of the ones in the poll, but damn are these things expensive 😱

yeah, i price them all around $40k, which im not entirely sure are even in my price range... but doign some research

Why AWD ?

I understand you're in Boston, MA but if you have a decent set of snow tires, you'll be fine in the winter time.

I thought this was going to be a thread about Polo and Crotchet.

I was thinking tennis and golf.

To answer the OP's question, I'd get the TL. But only because it looks the best.

performance, while important, isn't a clincher for me. i'm pretty certain the IS250 is plenty fast for my taste while providing a sleek design and the ability to drive in the freakin snow!

I've been driving a 2008 IS250 for the past 2 weeks and it had enough power for my needs.

Bought it for $38k out the door with the GPS and all service/oil changes for the next 2 years included.

In order:
Lexus IS350: Speed, looks, reliability, luxury, handling, the works. The IS250AWD is much slower than the G35x so it might be a push then. I have to say though, the interior of the G35 did not compare at all well with the Lexus.

Infiniti G35x: Best value for the money probably and AWD is a plus I guess. Unimpressive low rent interior, slightly better interior than the BMW but that's not saying much. Not a big fan of how it looks.

BMW 328i: Test drove one, didn't like it, didn't feel as if it was anything special. Panel gaps were bigger, materials were subpar for the class(example: exhaust tip is galvinized steel, not chromed, lack of upscale interior trim, etc), handles and drives pretty well

Acura TL: Looks nice, okay power(more than the BMW on the highway), decent interior but FWD luxury sedan?

I'd go with a G coupe over an IS250 for $38k.

OP, are you thinking coupe or sedan? My vote is G37x coupe either way 😛
