EDIT: The keys for the 7 sided lugs tend to be poorly made, even the genuine Kyokugen brand or whatever they are.

that also concerns me, whether or not to keep the key in the car. i also don't know where to get 7 sided locks. please recommend a brand

yup, soft metal key/adapter deforms when using them on the lugs after a while. might be possible to get one machined out of billet. you can take out just about any key/lug out there, period. Just depends how much noise the theif wants to make or not. Only way to keep wheels on the car is to weld em![]()
