YACT: What's the best road trip car in your opinion?

The qualifications for this are

Good gas mileage (>30 preferrable...I mean c'mon, it's a road trip).
A good amount of space inside...should fit 4 adults comfortably, and it should be possible for a person to sleep comfortably in it (in a pinch).
Should be relatively quiet at freeway speeds, and have a good ride.
Cruise control
 

Ford Crown Vic or Mercury Grand Marquis

Bulletproof RWD drivetrain, okay gas mileage (though you won't be getting 30 mpg, for sure), and comfortable as all get-out.

thats a good call thoes are nice for long hauls

there are a few Buicks id woudl use and a big caddy or 2, no idea about models tho

BMW 5 series of 7 series woudl work as well as big Merceedes

We drove from Northern NJ to Nashville, TN in a jeep. The gas was not as much as I thought it would be, and it was roomy for napping, storing stuff and grown up stuff.

It had a killer stereo, too.

And they can push 30mpg highway....
