Without the assembly line the cost to assemble the automobile would probably still be outside the price range of Joe Trailer Park.

I would have to say that GM's work to get rid of mass transit systems was a very ingenious idea that made the car industry what it is today (and one of the reasons that I despise GM.)

Actually this is all DOT's fault, They need to be giving driving tests every 5 years and every TWO years when the person is issued their senior citizens card. One test when you are 16 is by FAR not enough.
