I started in 1972....bought and sold now over 50 vehicles....cars, trucks, motorcycles. Not going to bother to list them all..........

1994 Hyundai Excel CXL
2003 Grand Am SE (current)

1990 Honda Civic
1996 Ford Windstar
2003 HD Sportster XLH1200
2003 HD SuperGlide
2005 Dodge Neon SXT

I bought each one of these on my own. (1978-present) There was a lot of overlap (when I had more than one car, cars and bike(s), etc.)

I suspect somewhere in the late 80s or early 90s you had a kid.

Dodge Caravan Minivan (hand me down, 1st car)
VooDoo bicycle - 19,000 before it got stolen
Mazda3 - 10k miles
New road bicycle - 3k miles (daily commuter)

What does it say about me? Nothing. People read too much into cars as statements of something.

I like fast things?

This transition does not support your claim! :Q

Going from the 4G63T to the modified Neon engine is just... meh.

That was the daily driver, the Tsi AWD wasn't a good DD (ACT2600 clutch, 17psi, fmic etc). My brother's late eclipse was even worse: same clutch, built block, big 16G, apexi N1, GM MAF with forge moto bov and apexi ignition contol... 450hp

1993 Chevrolet S-10
1997 Saturn SL-1
1999 Mercury Cougar
1977 AMC Hornet Wagon
1988 Plymouth Caravelle
1994 Ford Escort
1993 Ford Tempo
1986 Chrysler LeBaron
1991 Infiniti G20 <--- Current Car

My car history says I am a dumb bastard who did stupid things and is paying for it dearly.

1983 Chevrolet El Camino
1991 Chevrolet Lumina
1997 Yamaha YZF-600R
soon -> 2007 Mazdaspeed 3

still own all of em too...but not sure if the lumina or the el camino get the boot when i get the speed3.

from age 15-22

1985 Dodge Caravan (1997-1998)
1998 Saturn SL (1998-Present)

The Saturn has treated me well, but it is indeed feeling a bit old and, well, cheap at this point, so I am likely buying a Mazdaspeed3 in the relatively near future.

I'm sure I've done this before, but here, to the best of my recollection, is my list:

1953 Dodge Pickup
1966 Chevy Impala
1965 Chevy Impala
1965 Ford Galaxie 500
1969 Chevy Chevelle, SS396
1972 VW Beetle

1978 Ford Pickup
1974 Chevy Nova
1985 Ford Bronco II
1987 Olds Cutlass
1984 Plymouth Voyager
1987 GMC Pickup
1989 Pontiac Grand-Am
1988 Cadillac DeVille
1994 Geo Tracker
1988 Chevy Pickup
1991 Jeep Cherokee
1995 Jeep Grand Cherokee
1997 Dodge Avenger

Current Vehicles:
2002 Chevy Tahoe
2001 Chevy Silverado
1997 Cadillac DeVille
2000 Olds Bravada

This list doesn't include any vehicles I bought just to sell, only what I've kept as daily drivers for more than a few weeks. Nor does it include any pickups, Semis, or tractors that I've used strictly for the farm.

DSMs are horrible DD's even without mods 😉.

1988 Honda Accord LX-i (1998-2002, was my mother's car from 1990-1997)
1982 Honda CB450SC Motorcycle (1999, currently owned but in storage in Ohio)
1976 Porsche 914 2.0 (2002-2004, re-bought in 2005 and currently owned)
1986 Porsche 924S (2002-2004)
1995 Lincoln Mark VIII (2002-2006)
1989 Porsche 944 (2004-2005)
1986 Porsche 951 (2005, currently owned)
2006 Ford Mustang GT (2006-2007, sold because I got tired of not having a useful back seat)
1998 Volvo S70 T5 SE (2007, currently owned)

Vehicles from the age of 16 to 24 (well, 25 in 20 days). 9 different vehicles. Bought or been given a vehicle 10 times since one of the vehicles was bought, sold, and bought back.

It tells me that I don't really like newer cars and that I like to try out a lot of different cars.

ZV

Oldsmobile (forgot the year)
Ford Escort (86? POS that turn me off to Domestic)
Honda Accord (93 - Pretty much trouble free. Sold for $2000 2 years ago)
Toyota Camry (98 - current car)

All my cars were second hand, i.e. I got them used. Never know the feeling of new car. Actually that's not true. When we sold the Honda, we brough a new CR-V. I did "own" that car for 1 week before my wife take over and I got to "own" her car which is my current car, the camry.

[edited]
Got the timeline backward. We brought a new CR-V and the dealer tried to give us $100 for the Honda as a trade in. :| The same Honda where we sold later for $2000. 🙂
