We were gone about 6 hours. 2 of which were probably spent winching or towing people out of snow banks and snow filled ditches. It was great.
My brother drove his jeep, so I rode shotgun and took pictures. I would have taken more, but I forgot to charge the batteries for my camera before we left. At any rate, here's a few pictures.
On the way there part 1
On the way there part 2
On the way there part 3
On the way there part 4
Long way down
On the trail part 1
On the trail part 2
Wow
Stuck Bronco
3 wheelin' it
The first few pictures are obviously driving out to the canyon that we were riding through. Even though the focus is off, hopefully you can see how far down the bottom of the canyon was there. The next two are of us starting out on the trail. Again they are blurry, so sorry. After that the guy in the Bronco decided to test out his new lift and 35" tires on a tree stump. I was fairly impressed. The next picture is of him stuck in probably 3 feet of snow. His 35s were flush with the surface of the snow, but were touching the ground. His differentials were blocked by some really hard pieces of snow which were eventually dug out. He was there for about an hour. My brother ended up blowing a fuse in his winch trying to pull the guy out. The next picture is of my brother's jeep stuck in a small ditch. The snow was really soft, so his back end slid right in. The guy in the Bronco used a tow strap to pull him out, but the angle the jeep was at made it ride up onto the hill briefly. Hence the one wheel about 2 feet off the ground. It was damn sweet. At any rate. That's what I did with my Friday.
