It was on 2 way street, my mom was driving south, this guy was driving north. Arriving at the intersection, the guy came from the opposite direction decided to turn left and my mom tried to stop her car. Her car got hit on the left side. The other guy's car only has minor damage on the right side of his car.

On the police report, it shows something completely different. It shows the 2 cars approached at 90 degree angle. One from West and other from North. The police wouldn't change it.

What are my options?

The police will report what the witnesses said. Witnesses are most important in any tort case. If you didn't have any witnesses they don't have much to go on.

Where there any witnesses?

No witness and my mom can't speak english. The only witness is my dad, he was in my mom's car.

It will likely be ruled a no-fault if you have no proof. This is why I stop now when I witness an accident. I know some people who would just drive on by and say "Oh I'm late for work!". This is one of the reasons why collision is expensive though important on any valuable car.

How could the damage you describe even happen if they were coming at 90 degree angles?

Edit: Wait - her damage was on the left and his was on the right? Then It doesn't make sense that they were going opposite directions. One of them should have damage on the front or front corner

So there's no point on wasting money on hiring a lawyer?

You will have a tough time finding any sympathy out of any judge. As any judge would say that's what's insurance is for.

Your only bet is to get counseling from a lawyer when and if you file a claim to an insurance company.
