Cliff Notes: Still Waiting on Insurance Company to deliver verdict. My car may be totaled, so I'm checking out new and used car prices.

After hearing my tale of misfortune, one of my uncles gave me a sweet price on his 1996 Buick Rivera. 71,000 miles, all maintences performed, Leather seats, sunroof, 240hp 3.8L supercharger, power everything, etc. Basically Loaded. It does need slight body work due to a scuffed bumper. Anyway, he gave me a price of 4K which is about $2K lower than what he's been advertising it for.

Edmund's site readers have given it good reviews. Does anyone here have an opinion on it? Thanks.

Nice deal on a much nicer car than your previous Saturn... go for it.

When/if you get it, or look at it, make sure to take some pics 🙂

Yah, It would definitely be a step up.

My Saturn has seen better days. The sunroof motor stopped working. The A/C is getting very weak. The rear speaker was blown. It didn't have any power features. The brakes were starting to squeak. The paint job had faded due to my own lack of attention. The only thing it really had going for it was the CD player and a good service record.

I'll take pics if I do end up with it.
