yeah, the interior is OK. It does have loads of storage space, decent stereo, comfy firm seats. But luxury it ain't - otherwise they'd be eating into MDX sales.

Nice purchase . . . it is hard to justify the MDX over a Pilot given the price differential. But I've seen some very nice low mileage MDX Touring for low 30s. I think it's easier to buy a Pilot if you never sit (and certainly not drive) in an MDX or XC90.

Honda's rock, period. Great choice!

I'm a proud owner of a 91 Civic Si and a 2001 Odyssey (the wife's soccer mobile ;) :D)

:)

That's the kicker - I absolutely loved the XC90...loved it. Great handling/braking/acceleration for its size. Was gonna get it.

Then along comes the pilot at 15K less? Choice was easy.

I sat in the new CRV and the Pilot last week. As I hopped in the Pilot, all I could think to myself is, "Holy shyt! This is big!" WAAAAAAAY bigger than it looks at first glance. Definitely bigger than the Explorer as well. Well, I don't know about the new ones, byt buddy just bought a '00 Eddie Bauer Edition and he brought it by yesterday. The space up front is massive! As is the back seat! The 3rd row was definitely cramped. Save it for the kid seat when they want to sit all the way back. VERY nice SUV. The DVD system was very  too.

Me drools!!!

I agree, for the price difference you could buy a spare Honda Accord LX automatic.

The Honda Pilot, IMHO, is the best deal on the market when it comes to SUVs . . . but how much would you pay for an MDX? or the XC90-T6?

I must say this is a lot of vehicle for the price (28K). We looked at a LOT of suvs under 50K. Really loved the volvo suv but didn't wanna pay that much for a car.

Good motor (not going to be towing a boat so the 6 is fine), lots of room, drives well...good braking.

I didn't realize just how big it was until we got home and put it in the garage. Sitting there looking at the thing thinking "Man that is big"

I think honda's really got a winner here and they've priced it accordingly.

Congrats. That's a nice vehicle & decently priced, but I wouldn't trade my Jeep Grand Cherokee for it. You are prob aware that it is built on the same platform as the Odyssey minvan and the MDX.

Liked the Jeep grand cherokee limited as well. It drove very nice - firm and in control.
