Don't go by what the tire spec says.

That advice ONLY applies with tires that are the same size and construction as the ones the vehicle originally came with from the factory. Otherwise, use the recommendations on the sidewall.

As I said earlier, I don't think going by the sticker would be accurate as I am using Non-Stock, slightly larger LT tires.

(Car is a 1992 Toyota 4x4 Pickup (Tacoma's Predecessor).

At any rate thank you everyone for the input. I'll definitely call (I think BFGoodrich makes the tires I have on there) and see what they recommend. Ill let you guys know.

Thanks,

Why dont you just do what normal people do and what others suggested in this thread and look at the sidewall of the tire. It will say max load/ psi of the specific tire and therefor you inflate to that.

Or how bout you read the post by the Goodyear guy(funboy42) and follow his instructions, since you know Goodyear manufactures tires and such.

Funboy42 is correct, if the tires are not the stock tires that came with the truck then you can't go by the manual or what is on the door. You have to go by the rating on the tire.

I have always gone by the tire rating.
