Fully loaded V6 EX Accord is very close in range to a base TSX. If you've test driven both of them (or not and just want to offer an opinion), what were your thoughts? From what I was quoted, here's the options

Accord EX V6: 24-24.5
Accord EX V6 w/navi: 26-26.5
TSX (Base): 26.5

Id rather have a base TSX than an accord. Also, I dunno about you, but that navi would get just about no use what so ever in a car of mine.

well i'm actually moving to Arizona, so it's definitely uncharted territory for me. I don't especially like fooling around with those things, but I'm not afraid to ask for directions when I'm lost.

Driven both.

Accord is nice & comfy.
Ithas a beautiful interior if you get it with Nav. Looks ugly IMO but looks nice with a spoiler

TSX has a better interior IMO and better gas mileage. Looks ugly IMO but nice with a spoiler

overall I would get the Accord with Navigation. V6 vs 4Cyl.

IMO you're a very subjective person, IMHO.

It will be new for a while...then you'll now how to get around. I can't see an practical application for nav packages unless you travel alot for pleasure or for your job.

So is a WRX or a Porsche 951. You can get a lot of power from 4 cylinders if you do it right. :p

well I test drove an accord v6 and a TSX today. There was a noticeable difference (the accord was more powerful), but I like the styling of the tsx a lot more. In addition it offers a longer warranty, lower insurance, & better resale

no doubt, but the TSX 4 banger cannot compare. Hell, the mustang is a chick car stock with a v6.

TSX gets high 14s 1/4 doesn't it?
That's fast.

Accord V6 doesn't even break 14s.

l--
Well I'm wrong:

Accord V6: Mid 14s
TSX: Low 16s high 15s

According to various websites

2004 Honda Accord EX Coupe V-6 6 Speed 5.9 14.5
2004 Acura TSX 7.5 15.9 (est)

that's (0-60) and (quarter mile)

i'd probably still take my 98 gs-r sedan ;), then the accord, then the tsx.

The tsx was loaned me by the dealership while my 3.2 tl was in the shop.
Good pickup, nice interior, much more classy. Go with tsx.

ask yourself, do you value handling or straight line driving. tsx will own the accord the moment you enter the curves, you get much better steering response from the tsx. imo, v6 is overrated - driven correctly, the 4-banger is no slouch. fuel economy is great too, my worst: 19 mpg; avg: 26.2 mpg after 5,700 miles; best: 32 mpg for 90 miles.

go drive both cars again! this time test ALL the systems, drop to 3rd gear and take it to 85 mph on the tsx; once you test the navi on the TSX/TL w/voice recognition, the accord is just about the engine.

I will buy TSX just for the fact that I don't want a car that everyone and their mommies own. I will rather have a car thats relatively unique (thats why I have a Prelude  )

Yeah, but I think you have to get the EX-V6 with the 6-speed.

... Aww, you'll just have to suffer. ;)

And Aimster, please stop posting random crap in car threads until you actually learn what you're talking about, "kthxbai".
