YACT: Thinking about a few minor upgrades to the new Scooby..

We just bought a 2002 Impreza 2.5TS. I have a few upgrades in mind, nothing really performance related. First off, it has wheels and hub caps. My family has always had bad luck with hubcaps, so we're thinking of buying some rims. We dont want flashy or anything, we just want nice looking rims. We also want rims that are durable, and wont be damaged if we hit a pothole a little hard. After all, this is a Subaru, and we do drive this in winter. In Maine. A lot. Thoughts? Estimates on price?

Secondly, the Impreza has power locks. However, it lacks anything as far as a security system is concerned. Along with that, it lacks keyless entry. We can buy a kit and get it installed, yes? Will that incorporate keyless entry with a security system? Thoughts? Estimates on price?

Oh, and also... The Impreza has the "premium sound system" option. IF i wanna get like a single 12" sub, will that be easily installed, or do I need to buy an amp, etc?

 

Keyless entry is doable, yes. And you probably want a security system that has keyless entry as a feature, if you want a security system. I can't offer any info about security systems though; I've never bought one.

As for the rims, go with 17" Mille Miglia EV-S - check out TireRack to see how they look. They're $199/rim. Awesome look.
