YACT: Talk about people with priorities...

My neighbor two houses down just bought a '01 Corvette Z06 (415 HP). He also owns a '95 Twin-turbo, AWD 3000GT VR-4. That's his winter car (the awd). Oh, I forgot to mention he has a mid-90s Eddie Bauer Explorer and a really old chevy truck with a 454 that has a really expensive paint job. Four cars. He is single, no kids, and lives in my neighborhood in about a $100,000 house like the rest of us. Except the rest of the neighborhood drives your everyday Camry, Accord, and other middle-class cars. Cool guy, I guess he just doesn't need a larger house because he is single. He doesn't really take care of his house, but he is outside washing one of the cars sometime during every week. I don't personally think four cars are a wise investment, but this guy must sure have fun in that Z06 / VR-4.

some people put their money in computers,
some people put their money in real estate,
some people put their money in cars.

whatever makes you happy.

maybe if you showed a little skin he'd let you ride in the z06 😀.

or maybe make him a jello mold and invite him over.

Well, you know, as long as he's not spending more than $30 for a pair of jeans, it doesn't matter what he buys, and ATOT will support him.

^_^

(And I agree, it's a bit odd, but he must just love cars...it's understandable. As long as he doesn't drive himself into debt like so many people today, just to be "cool", to each his own)

Pyonir - I don't really CARE ... I don't spend time or emotion battling over his choices or opinions. This is an off topic forum and this guy has an off-topic lifestyle so I figured I'd share. You think because I have an opinion or raise a question about someones lifestyle that I CARE about it. The things I care for are my health, my family, my relationships, etc. Everything else is just something for me to comment about about.

Yet you care enough to come up with a scheme to contact an ATOTers family about something he posted here?

(yes i know you didn't actually do it, but you had to CARE to spend the time coming up with the idea)
