YACT: Tachometer

I am working on the same old truck '74 D100, 318... etc etc. I am trying to hook up a tach to it. I have the ground, the 12v power, and that is it. Ther is a blue one (I think it is for the dash lights) adn I have a green one. Where does the green one go? The coil?

RTFM? I think it would go to the coil though.

I have the Hanes manual on it, but no mention of tach on the scematics.

I meant the manual for the Tach...

Old tach. No manual (came with the truck). I pulled the engine and did maintanance on it (new intake, carb, etc). If it goes to the coil, would it be the positive or the negative side?

Cool. My apologies, I thought you had bought a new tach for it.

No prob. I didn't give enought info, but the negative is the thing I screwd up. Thanks for your help.
