I own 2003 Honda accord and when I break at around 60 mph or higher my steering wheel start to shake. It doesn?t happen at lower speed. Any idea what could go wrong, will take it to dealership tomorrow but would like to know what could be wrong before I do it

would that be cover under warranty or is consider normal wear and tear?

That depends. On a 2003, unless you have a lot of miles on it, the rotors really shouldn't be warping already, or unless you've been really abusing the brakes. I would think it would be covered under warranty. I'm not 100% certain warped rotors are the problem, but it seems likely given your description.

Actually, with the new Accords, this is a common problem. Visit some accord forums and you find tonnes of members who have the same problem, and most of the time the dealerships are failing to fix the problem due to the fact that they cannot figure out what it is (it's not the rotors). Take it to your dealership so they can at least document the problem ;)

I take it they haven't put out a recall? Or even a service bulletin?

just got a call from the dealership, they told my front brakes went bad and they changed them for free as a good will, So what could cause front braks to go bad after just 6300 miles on odometer?

6300 speedometer? Are you sure that's not a starship?

Well, I think you're an idiot, so that might have something to do with it. Got those regular plates on your car yet? Run any reds lately?

Wow, your steering wheel breaks while it shakes at high speed? Sounds like you got a lemon!

Brakes, shocks, clutchs, etc... are a wear item. If you have a problem with them before 12000miles (depends on maker) then they will do something. After that they just say its wear item. So if you have less then 12K get to a dealer soon, so even if they can't fix it is in the system and you can bring it up after 12K.

why would you not want to put them [your license plates] on ????

photo cameras, and also its much easier to avoid getting a parking ticket for stopping were there is no stopping sign as they can't just write down your plate and send it to you in the mail

Wow... how about you just obey the law or accept the consequences? Or get one of your high-priced attorneys from when you lived in Beverly Hills... wait, you lived in Beverly Hills and you're worried about a parking ticket? Hmmmm...

Edit: On second thought, go ahead and drive around without your plates. I'm sure it wont' take long for you to get pulled over and get a ticket. When the cop asks you why you have no plates, just tell him it's because you want to avoid getting tickets for running red lights and such.

i may be wealthy but it don't mean i want to speend money on stuff that i don't have to. The spray don't work as far as i know and as for the plate cover going to look in to it
