You forgot Fix or repair daily.

That being said, I would have loved it had my parents bought me a car... heck even paying for College would have been nice.

blah,
dont listen to all these whiners here. He got a car and he doesnt like it, live with it. You didnt get a car when you were young and apparently it left deep emotional scars on you or something....

as for rangers go, you can drop it make it a semi ghetto sport truck. As for performance goes, well it doesnt go... theres nothign you can do about it. Just hold on to it for a year and then get something you'd like :)

its a good thing i already had popcorn in the microwave before this flamefest started. no one likes trucks until they have to move. sounds like you are hard to please... put a system in it. custom sub box for the bed. since its an XL put some rims on it.

oh, and you can't have my 80hp of long bed suckness because i happen to love my 88 i bought myself

Just take good care of the truck and one day maybe you'll learn the value of hard work and earning your own money so that you too can buy the vehicle of your choosing. Until then, you're at the mercy of said truck. I bought an 87 Dakota with the 3.9l when I was 16 and it was all sorts of fun. (although not very reliable) You can drive over medians, go through feilds, do brodies in parking lots and on lawns. You can haul tons of dumbasses in the back, you can charge people to haul stuff if you're in a pinch for cash. You don't feel bad if it gets beat up. Trucks are awesome, and free ones are the best kind. Also they're pretty easy to work on when they break, it's good experience.

I think you'll live.. somehow.. someway. Enjoy it while it lasts.. you'll one day reach a point in maturity where you'll be content getting from point A to point B and you'll care about horsepower a lot less when you get a understanding of how powerful the word FREE is. Until then, don't complain to your parents.. that would insult them and make you look like a dick. Just leave it as it is. If it's the beater you claim it to be, there's no point in ricing it out with a cool fartpipe to impress your friends or yourself.

Be glad you have a car to drive around for no cost in the first place.

Like everyone else said, it was free, stfu

But otherwise, there isn't a huge aftermarket for the 2.3. The 3 and the 4 yes. The best you can hope for really is put in a trick sound system
