YACT: so I'm getting a sub-$25k "racey" car ...

My friend has an RSX-S (his), 03 M3(wife's) and 00 Boxster S (just sold to his brother) and he likes the RSX the best..no joke.

He thinks the M3 is too front heavy and not nimble. Boxster S is not fun to drive and clutch is heavy. He thinks the RSX has the best mix of the bunch even though it is not nearly as fast as the other two.

No offense to your friend ... but he's messed up! But then again, if he's had (relatively) long term experience (for real?) with those cars and still likes the RSX-S tops ... I suppose it's not that far of a stretch. All three of those cars are fixtures on the C&D Top Ten list.

I've never driven the RSX-S but i've driven the regular Boxter (not to it's limits though - I wouldn't freak my buddy out like that) and the '02 M3 (another buddy who actually egged me on to drive fast but I didn't - too chicken) and they are very, very nice cars.

Well, he's a motorcycle guy and I guess he likes the high revving of the RSX. He just got the M3 last week and likes it so far but I guess it'll take some time to get used to. He's put some mods into his RSX and he's thinking of doing some to the M3 to get it to his liking. After someone put a huge dent into his Boxster, he's been kind of down on it. I would be too.

An M3, RSX-S, AND a Boxster... good grief!
