Looks like Bob Lutz is really trying to make a case for producing the Pontiac Solstice (this Saab could conceivably share the platform), which is a good thing.

Still, an RWD Saab? Saab's brand identity has already been pretty watered down, and this is another step towards GM homogenization. I guess as long as they keep putting out good products it's a positive thing.

As long as they don't make saab to generic like everything else GM they should be ok. Well I guess that is as long as they also don't move production to the States. We own a 9-5, which my parrents really enjoy, but they said if GM starts making it in the states they won't even consider it again.
