Seems there are plenty of car gurus out there in Anandtech land. I'm interested to know how you've sold your used cars.

For any interested, I'm selling a 2000 Pontiac Grand Prix SE (74000 miles) with keyless entry and alarm. Will deliver in the Pittsburgh area :)

I personally voted for Auto Trader, only because thats how I sold my last used car 5 years ago. I'm sure there has got to be a better alternative out there somewhere...

Damn! OK, asking price is $7000 OBO :) It's in great condition, new tires last summer, fresh A/C charge, new brakes last summer, no major accidents, oil change every ~3000 miles...

Someone might have mommy and daddy money to dip into. Plus its OBO, so I might take slightly less.

I think I might try those two sources first anyway. More likely it will go to a Pitt or CMU student, since they are more in my area.

Sounds good, and $15 bucks for an online ad is worth it I think. Did you simply do the online, or the print ad as well?

Oops just realized that $40 bucks gets me a picture and "run til it sells!" Still seems like a decent bargain.

Since I live on a somewhat busy street, I parked my car out at the end of my driveway. Within a few days I had sold it.

Had I not sold it that quickly, I probably would have listed it in the paper, maybe autotrader as well.
