Remote start would be nice for about two months during the winter, but I don't really need one as I live in VA.

My wife and son will each be getting a Viper 160XV for Christmas, and I hope I can keep it a surprise. I inherited my wife's old conversion van for my daily driver. I had the Valet 552T installed in it for her 1999 X-mas gift. I really enjoy having it. The keyless entry is a huge plus year round, but having the thing warm in winter is heaven.

keyless entry, but only for the driver's door. it's a PIA (people see me press the button on the remote and automatically assume that their doors are unlocked. heh).
I'm having them installed by 1337 professionals, mostly because DEI will only sell to their retailers. My mom's trusted mechaninc couldn't even install it for me for this reason. He recommended his friend, the 1337 professional.Originally posted by: DaWhim
the Viper 160xv is what I have, the range is not that great for remote start.Originally posted by: Ornery
