So it looks like I am gonna go for the 06 models once the 07s roll around, but Im thinkin either the Civic LX Coupe or the Mustang.
I like the Mustang cuz of its classic looks but up to date feel and such. The Civic is good cuz it doesent look half that bad, its a little bit cheaper, and gets good gas mileage(30/40). But the appeal of a mustang is so nice.....

I propose that the chicks you can get with a civic will be substantially less expensive to maintain than the chicks you can get with a Mustang.

What are you going to do with the money you save? If you are not immediately socking it away into savings then you will probably just be blowing it on other things that make you happy.

What would make you happier, a Civic with a couple hundred dollars to blow every month, or a Mustang?

Depends on your situation - are you single? do you drive a lot? are you rough on your car? how much money can you afford to spend?

No it isn't. You people rave about how fast a 2006 Civic SI is, but a V6 Mustang is faster. It's .6sec faster than a manual Mazda 3s, and 1.1sec faster than an auto Mazda 3s.

2005 Ford Mustang LX 4.0l 6.9 15.3 (C&D Feb 05)

That pretty slow to me. I never said civic si or mazda 3 s was fast.

<6 second 0-60 is fastish
<14.5s 1/4 mile is fast ish

7second 0-60, mid 15 1/4 is slow.
Besides the whole mustang thing conveys a muscle car image and 7s 0-60 muscle car just dosent make sense.

2006 Honda Civic Si does 6.3 0-60(Motortrend) Its okay but not fast or fastish for s sports car.

If you're not considering the GT, forget about the V6 mustang and get the Civic

I've put several bus lengths on V6 Mustang owners who don't know what a GTO is. It's rather amusing.

Yes, it is. Having owned 2 Mustang GTs I wouldn't even consider a V6 Mustang.
