I've always been a fan of the styling but I would like to see it with an I6 or a high revving lower displacement v8.

An RX7 with out a rotary engine is like a man with out a penis.

Supercharging is more efficent than turbo... Turbo builds way more heat... and more boost lag also...
rather have an Intercooler supercharger than an Intercooled turbo..

Supercharging is less efficient than a turbo. There are more parasitic losses, and higher fuel consumption for the same power being made.

Why are they going backwards?

😕

they arnt.... the RX7 became legendary. its like the Corvette name... you just cant stop calling your flagship car the well recognized name...

the RX8 sucks ass, ugly, low performance, and generally not a good sportscar... a definate step backword from the Gen 3 RX7 I sure as hell wouldnt name a new RX7 supercar after RX9 or whatever..

RX7 will always be Mazda's rocketship...

i wouldnt say the RX8 sucks, nor is it ugly (looks are subjective) the performance is pretty damn good considering its price (£22,000 for a sports coupe here is preety special) and according to top gear ..one of the best handling cars they've driven,

but i will agree with you that its main focus isnt 100% sports car. its got room for 4...i dont want 4 people in my sports car...i want 2 minimum....one perferably. its a sporty car, but not a dedicated sports car

and yeah you cant just DROP RX-7 nor can you drop its rotary engine...they make the car, the car is a legend.

the last RX-7 really was the only truely beautiful car to come from that part of the world....the modern day e-type jag. if i was mazda i wouldnt change the design one bit (of course update the inards) but i dont think you can get more perfect than the shape of the RX-7 (talking like 90's models)

its the car i most want to own, its elusivness in this country adds to its character, and it was the very first car i bought on GT4. i will own a 91-93 type R RX-7 one day😀

I don't really like that concept, especially all the crap on the hood and on the front. I think the regular old RX7 looked the best.

Oh wow another condescending expert in a car thread.

From your flaming posts in just about every motorcycle thread just to show people how much of an expert you are, you've looked more and more like a bigger asshole instead.
