how about you save that money you'd be using on the car payments for a year and buy the car when you graduate and actually have a job?

just use the car you have until it's dead. a 92 maxima w/ only 140k should last another year, especially if you only drive to work twice a week

Is she your gf? Or are we talking about casual sex here?

Bah, it doesn't matter. I don't want to talk about that more than I have -- it's not going to happen though (getting the car) unless my dad pays for it.

He's mentioned how he pays my sister ~7k a year in child support (even though she's 20?!) and that he may help out if my car died. Maybe I'll just take a sledgehammer to it or something.

My old 93 civic is still at the dealership, they want CDN$2500 with a one-year warranty. Come up and get it.

EDIT: you edited your post just when I was quoting it... Why did you remove the info?

Because it's too much information, and it isn't necessary, really. The incensive is known and that's all that matters.

Just pretend you are the smooth but not rich guy from the beer commercial :)
Cus you sure as hell can't afford to be the rich but not smooth guy :D

I can afford to buy 2 of these accords cash right now. But I am driving a Maxima with 150K miles.
It's just not worth it getting a new car. Worthless old cars are so much better. You don't have to buy comprehensive insurance, cus they are worthless. You have no car payment. They still run good if it's a good car. You can throw a bike in the back seat without worrying about smudge marks. You can park in tight compact parking spots without worrying your new baby is gonna get dented. You can go for months without washing them.
My friend bought a new accord v6 coupe, and a year later sold it and bought and bought an older toyota corolla. He is much happier with the toyota.

Great car and I personally would buy it, only IF you could financially handle it.

However given your situation, I wouldn't do it. Fix the Sentra or buy a used reliable car.

WHAT THE FVCK?

Tell me about it.

If your father impregnated your sister, I'd be a whole lot more concerned with getting the fvck away from that family asap!

Hah. No.

The child support money that's supposed to go to my mom is directly given to my sister so that my mom won't spend it.

Given that you're willing to spend $25K on a car just to get some damn poon, it's not that far-fetched.

Now what's the god damned deal with the "Red Accord V6 Coupe = Sex" bit?

Sedan = Butt ugly. Coupe = far less so.

If you're really, really horned up for a new ride, why not a Civic? :p

I wouldn't touch any Honda anymore, unless they get their ass straight on the transmission problem!!!!

Don't get me wrong, I love Honda...but they have to absolutely solve that transmission problem.

20% down = car. You have 33% of it as a down-payment. You have income. You can get the new car.
