Need to find a comfortable car...around 28-33K range.
Driving seems to tire me out more than most people. Can't figure out why.

Average performance is fine.

I was told the Acura 3.2TL or Passat would be good choices.
Any opinions?

You want comfortable? Go for a crown vic. Nice and roomy, and the seats are very comfortable. Comfortable, yet more stylish = Lincoln LS.

Dude, Buick Park Ave Ultra. You could sleep in it the seats are that soft. And the supercharged engine will move if you are in the mood for that, from time to time ;)

Just took a look at the Lincoln LS--doesn't look half-bad.
I guess I'll be adding that and the G35 to the list of cars-to-see.

Sounds like the G35 is the ATOT car of choice.

My passat is VERY nice for driving long distances. I've done several solo 12+ hour trips in it without any sort of back or leg pain. Can't say the same for many other cars. The passat has a very hard seat which is actually critical to long distance traveling. Soft mushy seats like those that are found on most domestic cars feel good for a couple hours, but after that they can't provide support that you need for long hauls.

The passat also has a very pleasant suspension. Comfortable, yet not too mushy.

Also would suggest looking for a used ES300.

OMG, who the hell is going to pay $40,000 for a Buick Park Avenue?! Jesus christ that is rediculous.

A lot of places list the Audi A4 as one of the most comfortable cars. Top notch interior quality and very nice seats make long road trips bearable.

I'll second that. Get an Audi A4. Not only are they comfortable, but they are a very safe car. They also have quattro, just about the best awd system out there.

You can get some awsome deals on the 2003 models as they are just rolling out with the 2004s.

Eh. I'd just assume get a Passat myself. Well, because, that's what I did! More room, better gas milage, lower insurance premiums. Slightly lower quality interior.

I looked at A4's, but I just couldn't get past the very cramped back seat and tiny trunk.
