Only had a quarter tank of gas left, so I went to fill it up. 3/4's of a tank of premium ran me $36.84. I don't know whether to cry or sell my car first. How long is this going to last?

Or a hybrid bike and ride on the freeway with it.
 
First: Check your owner's manual. Does it REALLY require premium?
Second: Do some math. Find out how much gas would have to cost before it becomes more economical for you to sell the current car and buy a more efficient one.
 
i heard there are pre paid cards that you can lock down the current rate. if the prices drop, you lose. but if they go to 3.49 or 4.00 for a gallon, you're in luck.

my friend told me he knows someone who did this last year, and pre-paid a card of $3000 worth gallons of $1.79/gal gas. he must be smiling in his dreams

i'd just eat it up. find another higher paying job for the gas. blame the government. you would think invading iraq and spending all those billions of dollars and 1800 soldiers would pay off, huh? guess not.
 
Believe it or not, our gas prices are getting lower. I saw earlier today, a gallon of regular was about $2.46, down 3 cents from beginning of this week.
 
I picked a hell of a bad time to go back to college 50 miles away. Luckily I only have to commute two days a week

EDIT: oh crap, I just added it up. my gas expendiature is going to be the same as 1/3 my full time tuition at a university this semester

Even at $1.16 a LITRE I'm still getting it a lot cheaper then they are in Europe!
 
filled up the tank in my '03 civic with regular...it came out to almost $27...ugh...

anyone who drives gas guzzler right now is simply retarded
 
I drive a V6 and it costs more than $50 to fill it up with regular... stop pissing and moaning about < $40 please.

Could be true, gas stations near me went down slightly recently.
