I'd suggest Yoko AVS ES100s, they are much better than the 712s. I was in the same predicament as you, and in the end I went for Yokos ES100. They are AWESOME in the rain. And very quiet compared to 712s.

Nice rims though, and you got an awesome price!! How heavy are they?? I heard Volks are VERY light.

Oh and nice car!

Those are some great tires, the Yokos. I have Parada Spec2's on my car and they're pretty good as well.

i was gonna let this die, but after being in the same room as a kid with a seriously riced out GTI last night, I have to ask you how you came to that conclusion. The other kid's mk4 GTI was a fvcking disgrace, with asian characters and shlt on it, it was really pathetic. My car has a very tight suspension, lightweight 17" wheels, volks none the less, the only japanese wheels I'd consider paying retail price for (although I paid roughly 1/4 of that), and no cosmetic mods.

I bet you I paid less for my car, it's more practical, and it's faster that yours. Fvck you and your mother.

Actually i should take back the no cosmetic mods thing, it does have a tasteful badgeless grill from the previous owner.
