You could hold out for the EVO MR:

Speed article
R&T article

MR = more rice? 😉

MR = Mopar Raper 😀

Fixed 😉

🙁 I should've seen that coming

😉

Too easy 🙂 These lil econoboxes are getting pretty fast......I'm sure that Evo MR would beat or at least keep up with a much pricier C5 🙂 I don't think I'd ever personally buy a pocket rocket myself, but it's pretty cool how far technology has gone.

Just budget the extra ~3.5k to get it repainted(With a high quality paint job done right). 🙂

Then you could pick any color you want.

And there are a lot.

but you'll still see the old color in the engine bay and a few other areas. Nothing short of stripping the body 100% will get as good as a result compared to a factory paintjob...

You really can't compare the two.
True. One is a ricer's wet dream, and the other a mullet's wet dream 🙂

Personally I'd take the mustang, just because the evo is so heavy into rice, though obviously it would smack the crap out of the mustang on a track, but who really cares 😉

lol

i would take a mustang right now too... but in a couple of months after theyve been selling... there will be so many of those mustangs rolling around you dont really feel special... sorta like how the 350z and G35 are now.

The RS is cool, but after taking away everything I like in cars (abs, A STEREO) it seems pointless to me to get one... And even though it's ~150lb lighter, it's not fast enough to constitute the loss of all that was once there.

They need to make a US Spec-C
Spec-C?

Same idea as the RS, a project and track car. No A/C, radio, ABS, undercoating, sound deadening, airbags, sunvisor, trunk carpeting, and thinner glass, roof and trunk, etc for 300lbs savings, plus some minor upgrades on suspension and such.

The Urban Jungle package adds some of those features. I believe that the RS with the Urban package is 80lbs lighter than the stock version.

The only things that I need are the radio and power windows. But mostly a radio, and I can add that myself.

It's cheaper and doesn't have the god awful spoiler. Add the urban junble package and you still get off the lot with enough savings to buy a swet stereo...

I now have another reason not to get the EVO.

I just saw The Faster and the Furiouser on cable and guess what Paul Walker was driving... :disgust:

haha.. funny! the only color available for the SRT-4 that I like would be red..

The only color I really want them to make (which they likely won't).. white.

thats funny 😀
