the wife and i are looking to buy a new tC. i think we'll go to the dealers this weekend, at least to look at the car in person. we have never bought a new car from a dealership before. what should we expect? is there's anthing i should know about the tC before hand such as problems or recalls? how much did you guys pay for yours?

Welp, if you feel the need to buy a Scion, the tc is the least ugly of the bunch.

hey somebody dug up my thread. i personally don't want to spend all that money on a new tc when i could get a loaded 03 maxima for less money. the wife wants a new car tho. and at first we were looking at civics and corollas for about the same price as the tc. i'm not too fond of mazdas, but i'll look into it.

personally the Honda Civic is a great car, if you're gonna get one, get a EX. if you have money for a Maxima, i would recommend an Accord instead. Mazda 6 is a great car. Corolla is your choice only if you want a gas efficient car.

i wouldn't pick an accord over a maxima but i know there are plenty that will. when my 96 maxima gets to the end of its run, i'll get another max. but right now we're buying a car for my wife. her previous civic was stolen several weeks ago and i don't want to buy another civic when it cost more than the tC after adding all the equipments. i know the new mazdas are better than the old ones but i still don't have much interest in them.

yeah, i like the mazda 3 more.

I'm an owner of Mazda 3 4 doors. It's a great car.
My friend owns a tC, and I sat on it couple of times. The tC leg space for the driver seat less comfortable than the Mazda 3. The back seats for the tC is not that bad consider with other 2 doors car, and also the back seats can tilt backward slighty to provide more leg room.

Anyway, overall, the 3 is a much better car if you're looking for a comfortable car.

... I should be a car salesman.
