So I have a Citroen AX 1.1 (carb) '91 which had the CV gaiters replaced a year ago, and a replacement exhaust (fitted by yours truly) a while before that.
If I take a left turn, not necessarily from rest but it helps bring the noise out, and accelerate hard, I hear a knocking noise from the left side of the car, and only when turning left.
I'm stumped as to what it could be, possibly some dirt got into the CV joints before the gaiters were replaced and the joint is failing? Whatever it is, I want to find out quick as I just got a bonus so I can just about afford this.
Suggestions, please!
[Edit] Almost forgot, there's no vibration through the steering wheel or pedals when it happens.
