My friend says that the Jetta is a car for chicks and he makes fun of guys who drive them. Is the Jetta really a car for chicks and why?
 
Who fscking cares? If *YOU* like the looks and the way it feels, drives, ect, then that's all that matters. In the end, it's your $$ on the line.
 
This question came up in my gender communications class! Of a class of 80 people, three voted no - me and the two guys in the class well known for their androgyny. 🙂
 
I don't know if VW specifically are targeting females for the Jetta or not, but I've seen more females driving it than the males,
in fact, I hardly see males driving Jetta. But, if you like the car, it shouldn't matter what others think, right?
 
My guy friend drives a jetta... BOV, rims, kit, CAI, chip, upgraded Turbo... doesn't seem like a girls car... although i do see more girls driving one
 
I don't see why it's a girl car. It looks like a really well-built, nice compact sedan, plus it's a cheap german car. Nobody says the Corolla is a girl-car.. i just think people have stereotyped the Jetta too much. That one poll that some car magazine did several months back that listed "Top 5 girl cars" and "Top 5 Guy Cars" didn't help.

Dude, VW makes a car with a goddamn VASE in it for flowers! They also make the girliest car ever, the Cabrio. The Golf is a feminine car as well. Most if not all VW's are considered girly. Their most manly car IMO? The Corrado and the 'Rocco 😎
