I guess... take it as a compliment. You car isn't exactly the cleanest and nicest looking thing because it looks so cheap (DX badge and 97 Accord?) and the black bumpers doesn't help. The wheels that look like they're worth more than the car that's not exactly perceived as sporty...

Paint the whole car, wax it up, and you've got a nice little sleeper. I guess mebbe you're going for the ghetto stomper thing. Looks like crap and runs faster than it too.

'97? That's a '91.

Cue the Vanilla Ice music...

"RIce Rice Baby..."

There's only one company that makes a true short shifter and I haven't gotten my hands on it yet. And no, that engine doesn't have 157k on it.

hmm. h22... not bad. ill bet it performs better than it looks 😉

how much money did you put into it all in all?!

Uhm😱:Q🙁

hahaha. you need a paint job sir

The paint is actually in great shape. I have insurance money for the door damage but I'm trying to get up enough to get the hood fixed and the whole car painted (I know if I just get the door fixed the paint won't match, no matter what shop it is).

Hah, shoot, i accidentally voted rice 😱 I don't like the white guages either, i guess i never did like white guages. Black all the way!

But dear lord, from the general consensus, put on some rims and it's considered rice? Sheesh, what type of aftermarket wheels can you put on the car without being rice? I'd like to see some pictures of aftermarket wheels which some of you guys don't consider rice.

they also let your suspension do the job of absorbing bumps rather than the sidewall of the tire
You can fit low-profile tires to smaller-diameter wheels with less unsprung weight. Larger wheels are strictly to fit larger brakes. 😛

ZV

yeah but then you're rollin' on 10s stuck all the way outside of the car and the next thing you know you've snapped your axle in half

its really only rice because you can see his drums. or if they were spinners. spinners are rice. or maybe something more gangsta rappish. like... ummmm... ok so i don't know any good urban lingo.

Heh I'm surprised nobody has given him slack yet for what i'm pretty sure are reverse indiglo gauges.

Trying to make a Japanese family sedan fast is the very apex of rice culture. I would warn you never to reproduce, but after briefly dwelling on the matter, just hang on to that fly ride of yours and let nature take its course.

ahhhhggg...

so who was the dude who did the engine swap....and who has the new accord?....i'm getting all the ATOT so cal. honda accord owners mixed up....

I'm going to have to say yes for the simple fact that the money you spent on the car HAD to be greater than the value of the car....its a honda, with rims, and suspension items that, nice though they may be, can't make up for the fact that the car is a '91 Accord.

The whole idea of shocks, and struts and sway bars and their ilk to to make handling better true, but in your car, I can't imagine it handles as well as something, I dont know, newer....better.

I will say this, thank GOD you dont have a bunch of neon all over it.
But the catback....nono....if it sounds like rice....sorry, it IS rice, and I bet it sounds like rice.

But thankfully you dont know me and my opinion means jack hopefully.

So, all that said, its your car, your money, long as its not a weedeater, hell, as longas I dont have to hear it, more power to ya! 🙂
