A buddy of mine made some sort of special deal and he's picking up a new GTO on the 21st. I already have my loyalties (current mustang owner and future '05 body mustang owner)... but I can't wait to see how well this car lives up to its billing. I've heard lots of great things, but I think the sedan may have been just a little too much... Either way I'll be sure to be gracious for the ride 😀

wow, ripping on what most magazines have called an excellent handling car.

its a very nice looking car. that can go fast, and handle well.

who here has seen the pics of what i would call GM's first AWESOME interior?

Take it you haven't read much about it. It's actually pretty agile for a car that decks in at 3600+ pounds. Most car mags were quite impressed.

Oh, I've read plenty about it. I'm just extremely skeptical of car mags. I'm sure it handles just fine.
 
He told me it's got the red interior... I'm assuming that the exterior is silver. I think he said its a 6-speed manual... I'm really looking forward to it.

They color match the interior in many of them to the exterior. So I would venture to guess it's a red exterior.
 
I'm gettin a brand new one as soon as I'm out of college. Have fun on the test drive... I hear they're sweet machines.
 
If I ever get one, I'm going to purchase a Holden bumper, and all holden badging so I can return the car back to it's original beauty 🙂
 
watch the top gear vids of the top gear dude getting the holden monaro sideways on the track. It looks rather nimble and fun to romp about in for a big car.

I really want one 🙂

my mommy might get a wrx this week, that'll leave something to be grateful for at least.

Have gun in it and take it easy til the breakin period is over 🙂

Yup..he called it a "big friendly giant." lol. he also commented on how it was the easiest car he's ever driven at it's limits. it also ran a pretty good track time during wet conditions.
