Wait, you settled an insurance claim in a couple hours? Without an adjuster inspecting the car, a police report, or witnesses?Originally posted by: PAB
Oh, Geico just called.
They accept full liability. Now they're going to fix everything and I'm going to get squared up.
Geico just called you and said "hey, everything is a-ok champ, were going to just hand you more fat stacks of cash".
Man are you ever full of sh!t.
How many car accidents have you been in? Notice of acceptiance of liability dosen't mean settlement. You need acceptance of liability for them to say "lets cut you a check". Settlment is HERES YOUR CHECK.
Jackass.
No one said it. I'm jumping to that conclusion.Oh, and who said I didnt have a police report?
You got in an accident, filed a police report, filed an insurance claim, had a claims officer look over all said information and came to within a step of settlement in a few hours?
Right, things must move faster down south....
Yes, thats correct.
I called Geico, spent an hour talking to them. They called their insured. They called me back, want to setup an appt to write it and they accept liability.
