Seriously dude, uninsured drivers suck! Even if "you were driving to State Farm", which I seriously doubt you were since you don't sound like a man with his priorities in order. I mean d@mn, pick up a phone, CALL the insurance company.

You don't deserve to drive, let alone own a car.

And one more thing, with all that cash you had you need to buy your dumb@ss a digital camera. It sounds like you're gonna need it a good bit in the future for accidents to come.

Please don't breed, please.

First things first, why should state farrm pay to fix MY car when the other guy is clearly at fault. I've got a claim on his property damage pending.

Do you have witnesses? Even if you do, it's still going to be tough to get liability on him when his car was not damaged in any way.

I would've hit the old fart as well - more convincing evidence that he was at fault. Good to hear you made it out ok though PAB.

I break a table when I get mad and ATOT goes - you have anger issues.

I swerve to avoid hitting someone, kiss the utlilty pole and ATOT goes - you shoulda hit the guy.

What the hell. Seriously.

Did you buy the car off a private party?

The dealers I've worked with in the past few years will not let you drive off the lot unless you already have insurance on the purchased car.

He's a super duper special guy who gets them from underground black market auctions that no one else has access to.

You people fail to realize that existing insurance automatically covers new car purchases for a certain period - typically 30 days.

In what state and with what company? The car wasn't "new" technically. Also he may legally be a dealer.

You're right, I should only be an asshole part time. Full time asshole is just killing me.

Seriously though, I may have been harsh, but the guy just begs for it it seems. Otherwise, he'd wise up.

Sorry PAB, I'll lay off, but you still lack common sense, though you otherwise seem intelligent.

Oh, Geico just called.

They accept full liability. Now they're going to fix everything and I'm going to get squared up.

Wait, you settled an insurance claim in a couple hours? Without an adjuster inspecting the car, a police report, or witnesses?
Geico just called you and said "hey, everything is a-ok champ, were going to just hand you more fat stacks of cash".

Man are you ever full of sh!t.

How many car accidents have you been in? Notice of acceptiance of liability dosen't mean settlement. You need acceptance of liability for them to say "lets cut you a check". Settlment is HERES YOUR CHECK.

Jackass.

I've been in my fair share, 3 where insurance and police came into play. Not once did I have an acceptance of liability from the other parties insurance carrier within a full business day.

Oh, and who said I didnt have a police report?
No one said it. I'm jumping to that conclusion.

You got in an accident, filed a police report, filed an insurance claim, had a claims officer look over all said information and came to within a step of settlement in a few hours?
Right, things must move faster down south....
