Except the timing belt. One belt is screeching in my car and it's slowly screeching more and more. How much do you think a mechanic will charge for changing it plus cost of belt?? It's in a Mitsubishi Galant '97.

its not as easy as said though cause if u dont got the right amount of torque on some of those belts it can cause problemos![]()

Yes sir, I believe it's the serpentine belt. There are three different belts though. I was told that I need to remove some parts in order to change it That's why I dare not attempt it.

serpentine belt usually turns all the accessories. you probably just have V belts and such.
